Alongside the visual essay, Walking the Long Way Home (found here), Lily created a light-box diptych in response to the essay. This plays on mainstream media formats that exist in public spaces. The light-boxes are designed with the intention to reclaim the public spaces, where women face many sexist obstacles, and are so often made to feel vulnerable and secondary.
